At Crosspoint, we endeavor to provide education and training in a wide array of preparedness skills. Our focus is on increasing your awareness, developing your response options, and helping you protect yourself and your loved ones from physical, legal, moral, and financial harm.

Many of the dangers we prepare for are thankfully hypothetical. Their likelihood may be small, but the potential consequences can be significant. That makes the awareness, time, training, and resources we invest in preparedness worthwhile.

We should prepare for possibilities.

But there is one certainty we must not overlook...

DEATH.

We would be remiss if our understanding of preparedness failed to acknowledge the ultimate reality we all share. Unlike the threats we hope never to encounter, death is inevitable. Regardless of our circumstances, background, or the cause, one out of every one of us will die.

And that raises a question worth considering.

As you take steps to protect yourself and your loved ones from physical, legal, moral, and financial harm, are you equally certain that you and your family are prepared for what comes after this life?

If you were to die today, would you be confident in your eternal destination?

Of all the knowledge and skills you could cultivate during your lifetime, your answer to that question may be the most consequential of all. The decisions we make regarding our physical safety matter. So does the decision to consider our spiritual condition.

There are no do-overs when it comes to life. And there is no reason to treat eternity as something we can afford to leave to chance. We train so we don't leave our lives up to chance. We should also give serious consideration to whether we are leaving our eternity to chance.

Neglecting either deserves our attention.

WHY "CROSSPOINT"?

The name Crosspoint is intentional.

I believe my ability to teach, explain, and help people move toward what they need is a gift from God. My response to that gift is to point people toward the cross of His Son, Jesus Christ. That is not an attempt to force or coerce anyone. Just as I cannot—and do not—attempt to compel someone to pursue any of the other training opportunities Crosspoint offers, I respect your ability to make your own decisions.

My purpose is to share what I believe, explain why I believe it matters, and encourage you to consider the possibilities. With physical preparedness, we recognize that the right knowledge, training, and preparation can make a meaningful difference when faced with danger.

When it comes to eternity, the stakes are immeasurably greater. And unlike the dangers we prepare against, death is not a possibility. It is an inevitability.

​

We should not neglect the one preparation that ultimately matters most.
